Training

While it's easy to complain about how annoying NS can be... let's admit it.. you're going to be stuck here to serve 2 years anyway. Why not make the best of it?

There's free lodging, food, and access to the pool and gym. So while these 2 years are not the best circumstances to live out the life you had before enlistment, it certainly gives you ample opportunity to push your fitness up.

And I enjoy exercise. It feeds you endorphins to brighten your mood and there's always that satisfaction of seeing an improvement in your fitness. And of course it's beneficial to your overall health.

So today would be 1 month after I started committing to a healthier and fitter lifestyle. A good amount of time was spent at the gym, followed by some swimming and a light run in the cold night after dinner. Gonna continue to be disciplined and not fall into a trap of becoming lazy again :)
